Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why charge a bottle deposit?
A: We need to charge a bottle deposit as the bottles are expensive and are re-used up to 40 times. Each bottle returned is checked for contamination prior to washing, sanitising then filling with our quality Welsh Spring water. Any bottles that fail the inspection or are not returned we can use the deposit to replace them.
Q: Can you do a deal on prices?
A: Yes, we are happy to have a go at matching or beating any prices you may have been quoted. Show us your quote or invoice and leave the rest to us...... Remember it is an old saying you pay for what you get, no rental fee, no sanitisation team, cheap water (that would scare me, remember it is a FOOD product you are purchasing!!). We offer a quality product, at a fair price with a service back up second to none. All our staff are fully trained, worried come and visit us anytime, we are proud of who we are and what we do.... Ask your present or potential supplier for a copy of their BWCA or EPDWA certificate, all good suppliers should be members of one or the other of these goverining bodies? We are proud to be members of both.
Q: What is the shelf life of your bottled water?
A: Our water is a natural product that contains no chemicals or preservatives. As a result, extended exposure to the sun can cause an algae bloom, which is completely harmless but looks an odd green colour. To prevent this natural process from occurring (1 bottle in 1000 may go green) and to maintain the quality of your bottled water, keep the bottle out of direct sunlight and place in a cool, dry, chemical free area. While the bottle is on your cooler you could use one of our bottle covers, these block out the direct sunlight which cause the bloom. Our rack cover does the same, blocking out the sunlight while your bottles are stored ready for use.
If stored correctly, water in 13 and 19 litre containers has a shelf life of one year.
Q: What if I already own a water cooler?
A: We are water specialists and can still deliver any of our bottled water products that are available in your area. In fact, our 13 or 19 litre water bottles are industry standard, so fitting your water cooler is not a problem.
Q: Is it better to rent a water cooler or purchase one?
A: Choosing to rent a water cooler service from us means you are getting a dependable, high quality unit with a guaranteed warranty. Should any problems arise with your cooler, we don’t attempt to repair your unit on your premises. Instead, an immediate replacement is provided. When you purchase a water cooler, your warranty is limited. Because water coolers are refrigeration units, repairs can be extremely costly. If you purchase your cooler elsewhere and something goes wrong, it can be very expensive to repair if you don't have a warranty. Also, should any problems arise with a purchased cooler; you might have to wait for a technician to correct the problem.

about the Environmental Impact of Bottled Water?
A: With all of the recent environmental concern about bottled water and the recycling of plastic bottles, you may be wondering how you can get the pure taste of bottled water that you love without impacting Mother Earth. Bottled water delivery is one approach to healthier living that consumers are taking advantage of more and more. The majority of the larger bottled water containers that are used in bottled water delivery services can be sanitised and reused, and when they can no longer be used, they can be recycled by local recycling companies, our bottles are ground down to be reused in general plastic moldings, etc.
Contrary to what the general public often believes, the bottled water industry was among the first to begin recycling plastic bottles. The bottled water that is provided by Princes Gate Cool Water delivery service comes in 13 or 19 litre bottles that can be used by you, then picked up by us, sanitised,

Bottled water offers a healthy alternative to other beverages that container sugar and calories, and home and office bottled water delivery offers ease and convenience to consumers and businesses. The quality of product and service offerings in the marketplace differs significantly. Therefore, it is beneficial to the consumer to investigate any potential bottled water supplier with care, not all bottled water is what is seems, Princes Gate Cool Water only supply a natural spring water from a registered spring. Your Role in Going Green?
The qualities spurring bottled water's growth are clear. Many consumers recognize it to be healthy and safe with a better taste than your tap water. So, you may be wondering how you can continue to enjoy your favorite bottled water while lessening the impact on the environment. One easy step is to purchase from a local supplier, Princes Gate Cool Water supply water to Wales and the South West of England, our water is Welsh, our bottles are Welsh, our staff are local and we are only an hour away from 95% of our customers. With national contracts becoming ever more prevalent, being sold to you the customer as they save you money having only one supplier and you therefore benefiting from the best rates! This is not always true as we are very competitive and we see water being transported hundreds of miles, across the SevenBridge in to Wales on a daily basis, from unknown water sources, at prices higher than you could find locally. This must be having an impact on the environment and in the pocket as the cost of diesel increases!! If you want a national contract, why not have a Welsh national contract!!
